Hey everyone.
I have one stupid question about upgrading my RAM - sometimes just wanna do a bit of rendering, but i'm aware about using 4 ram slot instead of 2.
This is my configuration:
- i7 14700k
-Asus Rog Strix Z790A WIFI GAMING
- Asus Rog Strix 4090
- 32GB DDR5 Kingston Fury Renegade RGB 7200Mhz (2x 16GB)
i wanna upgrade it to 4 slot ram with 64gb total.
Would using 4 slots instead of 2 slow down the use of anything?
Won't the perceived performance be similar to using fewer slots?
Thank you

Hey,
It won't slow down the performance. It will only boost the performance since you are rendering. I would stack up the RAM modules to 128GB's since the motherboard supports it. 64GB's is great as well. I'm not sure on overclocking the random access memory to 7200Mhz. It might malfunction on fully installed slots (with 128GB's).
