error message: please ensure to fully connect at least one 8-pin atx_12v connector to the psu for system stab we strongly recommend connecting all atx12v connectors under heavy usage.
This is coming for the fourth time. I checked my psu
connection and its all neat. I screwed my AlO and
check the cables on the top left, one of the cable is
still not go in. I make it go inside and make sure its
connected really good. then plugged in and turn on
my pc, still getting this error.
from the communites I learned, its happen because if
you use any surge protector. I changed My surge
protector and the issue still persists. My computer
switch board also grounded. changed CMOS battery
to new one, but no luck.
a day before this happened there is a power outage
and I was connected my pc to a pure sinewave
inverter(1400w) (my psu was 1000w).They inverter
suddenly overload, and My computer was idle in that
time. then everything come back to normal when
power come again. yesterday I was playing red dead
redemption 2, and doing some brush sculpting. then I
put it into sleep mode and after 30 mins I came back
and turn on from sleep mode, this error was showing.
It really give me a panic attack that seeing this for the
4th time. Im doubting that even if this can boot
normally to windows after some, who knows this will
come again eventually? Is there is a permanent fix?
my motherboard: ROG STRIX X670E-A GAMING WIFI
cpu: amd ryzen 9 7850x
graphics card: asus tuf rtx 4090
psu: corsair rm1000e

Hi @sajan I am sorry to hear about your problems.
Since you mentioned that the problem started after a power surge, it is quite possible that either your inverter, or your power supply unit in you PC, or your motherboard may have been damaged.
I believe you are connected BOTH 12V connectors in the top left corner as shown in your manual at https://dlcdnets.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/Socket%20AM5/ROG%20STRIX%20X670E-A%20GAMING%20WIFI/E20271_ROG_... which are shown A and B in the picture below.
check the cables on the top left, one of the cable is still not go in. I make it go inside and make sure its connected really good.
Were both these cable connected before this issue started? Can you try connecting the other end of these cables into different PSU ports and see if that helps? Did you try connecting your PC directly to the wall socket by removing your inverter as a test to see if everything works properly without an inverter?
Maybe something in my post here might help you out. Good luck!
