I think my board (Crosshair VI Hero x370) killed my RAM (Gskill Tridentz RGB Ram)

Not sure where to put this and my speculation could be wrong but here are the facts.

I attempt to install Kraken X52 Cooler. I of course do this but removing power to PSU and shutting it off. I work on hardwood floors and I make sure I'm properly grounded by touching the case before I start working.

Also, I was on BIOS 9945 which allowed my RAM to get to its rated 3200 MHz. I did not touch any voltage on my RAM I simply tightened the timings.

After I installed the cooler, I kept getting a 0d message and then sometimes a 1F message. Which people said is indicative of issues of the RAM. I swapped sticks with my brother and he confirmed that my RAM would not start up on his computer in any slot whether it was both or just a single stick (I was using 16GB). My computer did boot up just fine with his sticks of ram in it. Which of course points to the faulty component being the RAM. (The weird thing is that the RGB still lights up on the stick).

Anyways has anybody heard of this happening? I'm positive I assembled my cooler in a safe way and I didn't even remove my RAM. I'm going to RMA my components and see what GSkill says.*

Did you install Aura and RGB SW? They are corrupting RGB RAM. 😞
