I was thinking of buying ASUS Hyper GEN 4 card with 4 x Samsung 990 PRO for video editing in RAID 0 but then I got dubious. One Samsung 990 PRO is using almost 100% of PCI 4.0 so what would be the benefit of buying 4 NVMEs with this card over puting one NVNE directly in my MOBO? It looks like I would have basically the same bandwith for video files for much less money. Any thoughts?
