What exactly do you mean by "straight line tubing"?

Kind of a specific topic for the asus ROG forum, I would think.

Ah, so... - there you have your answers... 🙂

You need a lot of 90 degree fittings... also, if you want it very similar, you should use compression fittings...

Quaid is right. That what I'm going for and I do plan on using Matte Black Monsoon Compression Fitting - 3/8" x 1/2" with red monsoon 90° with matte black compression fitting and matte black accent disk. There are more $$ but I love the way they look. Its best to go with what you like no matter the cost. I hate to have to pay that much but I've seen them on a friends water cooling setup and online and they just look kick a$$.
I have the ASUS maximus v formula mobo does anyone know how to go about putting compression fitting on the Fusion Thermo barbs. Like the one that Ban Nguyen did on the Maximus V Mod. here a picture.

Not sure as I've not seen one disassembled but they're not intended to be removed. You'd have to remove the block and take it apart to see how the barb is attached inside.
A bus station is where a bus stops. A train station is where a train stops. On my desk, I have a work station…

the pipe is one peace, not seperate parts.
the alu coole is molded around the tubing so its a no go realy.
cut or remove the barb and your fked.

First off thanks Mankz for the link. Now I got a good idea how it done with the barbs and you wouldn't have to take it apart. you would have to get a machine shop to get a black piece of metel and have it long enough to cut a hole all the way through. then make sure that it fit a little snug on the barb side and on the other side measure a compression fitting that you are going to use and with a tap cut the threads out. Now is the tricky part. I would think you could use jb weild or some kind of apoxie but if you ever need to take it off (man old man). I want to find out how he did the barb side. Is it permanent or can it be taken off if something should ever happen. If anyone know someone I can get in touch with please let me know. I went to bit tech and try register but it would never go through. If I could get to register I might be able to talk with nhenhophach. He seem like a nice guy. I was looking at his fourm on how he built the Maximus V Mod and there where others asking how to do the compression fitting on a barb and he was building them the pieces so you could use a compression fitting. Which is so cool that he would do that for them.

I know it all in one piece. You can take that piece off. EK makes a full body water block for the north bridge and for the Z77 chip. There two versions. There the soild one and the see through waterblock. Here a picture of each one.
