Hero Z690 Bios 1003 issues

Hi guys I am running a 12900K with a Strix 3090 OC on an ASUS hero Z690 board
I’ve fitted G-Skill 6000mhz DDr5 - only 32 GB over two sticks

I seem to have an issue when I install the 1003 bios, the whole pc slows down to a crawl and my GPU runs line a dog sadly.
Now obviously an ROG Strix 3090 OC is no slouch but on this specific Bios it runs like a dog.
If I roll back to the 811 or 803 Bios it runs perfectly

Has anyone else had these GPU performance issues with 1003 ?
Do they plan to update the bios any time soon as I just cannot use 1003, it ruins my pc sadly.

I am on 1003 and I have not noticed any issues with performance on the CPU or GPU. I have an EVGA 3090 FTW Ultra.

What scores are you getting in the benchmarks?

I run the 12900K on the same board with Corsair 5200 32gb Kit of DDR5.

im getting about 9k on on the gpu timespy, it should be around 19k for the gpu ...
if i revert back to the 811 or 803 bios the scores go back to what they should be
i wish someone could tell me why - i think i will be chucking this asus hero board and getting somehting else tbh its turned out to be nothig but aggro on this 12th gen, i never had any issues with my 9900ks and the maximus board
This 12th gen has literally been constant pain and aggro for me and its never been stable, im toying with switching to another brand now as the support is non existent unless you jump through 40 hoops

The support now sadly is non existent.

Update i chucked the board in the bin
I feel genuine pity for anyone buying the z690 hero baord , this has to be the very worst experie3nce i have ever had with an Asus board, it is total garbage, nothing but constant issues with it and no supprt whatsoever
A total waste of £500 and this reminds me why never to buy cheap boards - never again
