Help with my first gaming PC

Hello friends. Ive been a console gamer all my life but always wanted to get into the PC gaming world. Well im finally going to take the plunge. I would very much appreciate if someone from here could help me build or find me one that Is pre built but customized for strictly gaming and would play all the games out now with very high settings and with no problems. Especially very large games like Dayz and others. My budget is between $1500 and $2000 . I also would like to have enough room in my case to upgrade in the near future. This will be mainly a gaming pc as I do not do any videos or editing. To be honest I was looking into Alienware but then doing some searching on forums I found out they are more pricey and you can build your own or so for alot cheaper. Im super new to PC's and dont know anything about them lol. I heard bad stories on cyberpowerpc and ibuypower. So im confused on what to do or where to go. Any help would be highly appreciated and im sorry for asking these questions because as a member of other forums of other types. I know the "newbs" can ask the same questions.

High Bamatide, Welcome to the ROG community, gaming on a pc can be superior compared to a console. Asus offers gaming desktops, here have a look:

http://www.asus.com/ROG_ROG/Desktops_Products/

If you can build your own sure it will be cheaper but, if it is your first time I would suggest getting together with someone you know who has experience in building one. I say it CAN be superior because it all depends on the hardware you choose which comes down to your budget. The CG8890 looks to be the leader of the pack. Feel free to ask any and all the questions you want. The only dumb question is the one that is not asked.

It is difficult for a console to be superior to a PC. The two new ones are made with AMD's low-watt architecture (which means they have extremely low consumption, but aren't made for gaming). and 8 cores. The Xbox one has a 1.75GHz clock on each core, while the PS4 has a 1.5GHz clock. The Xbox one CPU has integrated graphics equal to a 7750, while the PS4 has equal graphics to the 7870. 4GBs of RAM on both. A machine with an i3 decimates consoles. Most games on consoles are rendered at 720p. So unless you buy a 100 dollar Pentium core laptop, you're doing good.

The "Hero" is a pretty great starter mobo, as it has some expansion room remaining, but is not (as far as computers go) a huge investment, and if you need to buy something beefier and stay within budget you won't have a problem. Same goes for the R9 280x. It has a lot of muscle, but if you find yourself unsatisfied switch it out for a GTX 780 or an R9 290.

I just found out that the gaming desktops I listed are not available, sorry about that. Let's see what else we can find you.

Have a look at this, it has a liquid cooled i7-4670k cpu and SLI gtx 670 graphics cards and comes with a mouse and keyboard.

here is a good monitor for the price, It is 1080p

http://www.amazon.com/Asus-VE278Q-27-Inch-Integrated-Speakers/dp/B0043T34RK

With this pc and monitor you will be able to play any game for quite a while with all the visual settings cranked to the max.

No interest in build your own?
Mobo: Rampage IV BE | CPU: i7-4930@4.5ghz Hexacore | RAM: 32GB Corsair V-Pro | GPU: 4xR9 290X Quadfire | PSU: eVGA P2 SuperNOVA 1000W\G2 850W | Chassis: NZXT Phantom 820 | Cooling: XSPC Raystorm CPU Block\4xEK 290X Block\2x Laing D5\XSPC Dual Bay Res\Phobya G-Changer 1080 External Rad\Alphacool 140UT60\XSPC AX360 | Fan Con: Lamptron CW611 | Tube: Primochill Adv. LRT Bloodshed Red | 3xCrossover 27" 2560x1440 Monitors | Build Log of Insanity

Yes I would also be interested in building my own. I would just have to have help or like a list from someone who knows what I need and what would be the best in there opinion for me. Im a huge college football fan and can tell anyone just about anything to do with the sport. But when it comes to computers thats someone elses area of knowledge and I sure would appreciate some help. So far, you guys have given me options and have helped me alot. It really does mean alot. Some other forums that ive posted on doesnt help at all. Or even some members are somewhat rude. . This place has been very pleasurable to be apart of.

well if you would build one your self ( or you know one who may have the knowledge to put together one ) a self build would be mutch cheeper then a pre build one ( well it is here ).
that way you get it the way you want, can add parts later, switch out parts.
a great gaming pc can be from $1500 and upwards depending how demanding you want it to be 🙂

Refer to the parts list I showed above. It's got a small SSD that has enough room for your OS, and some pretty good components.
