Hello I have just finished building my tower and connect both of my 207d asus monitors. But whenever I boot them up a message saying "VGA no signal" appears and then the monitors goes to sleep. What could the problem be?
Tower specs: MSi 970A-G46 Motherboard

Hi fiqurez 🙂

Well I'll state the obvious...that we all have ASUS hardware here so not many will have a great idea about MSI motherboards :o

Having said that there are plenty of troubleshooting steps in common.

Have you got the latest BIOS for your board? But be careful make sure it is the latest for your OS too...the very latest are recommended for win 8 only for example....can you get into BIOS on the screens? I would start simple and try connecting only one monitor to start with of course. And how are you connecting....correct cable etc.

You got GPU seated correctly and all the power connectors properly seated?

try and switch between the inlets on the monitor ( buttons on the monitor it self ) if it dont auto negotiate on the connections on it.
are you using HDMI or DVI or mini HDMI or enny thing else?

Make sure you have the VGA card corrected wired up for power.

That is the most common error we all make.
