Help / advice on mod needed

Hi ROG'ers

Finally a dream came true with my first SLI system, but there goes my problem.

As you can see marked in the picture, the EVGA 780's are not equal to each other
with that specific part. So how could i hide this part, or mod the part on the first card to
look equal to the second one?

you can order backplates from evga online if you want.
as you see one have back plate and the other dont.

I know, they are currently not in stock for eu, but i still wanted to set my system up 🙂
Anyways I am not done with custom cables so no problem for me to have it like that for the moment.

But as you see on the picture the spots i marked, these are different plastic shrouds or w/e, i need to look them the same or hide them the same way.

i think you can buy from the us site.
or look at frozencpu and see if they have. and they too ship outside us.

Any ideas to make the two plastic shrouds / covers make look alike or hiding them?
Upper one is white while lower one is black :mad:

from what i can see now i dont know what you are trying to point out ( on cell here so pic is so so ).
the black and white.
is it the washers or??

There is a plastic cover / shroud which is behind the cooling fins, on the first card it is white, on the second card it is black.

Now I am hoping for suggestions or advice how to mod it that both look the same, because it ruins the look for me unfortunately :rolleyes:

I would suggest you check out Performance PC's in the UK, as they are closer the shipping charges should be lower for you 🙂

As for the plastic cover...just use permanent marker lol 😛

Might aswell just wait until they are back at EVGA EU's stock since they told me it is stocked up soon but thanks guys!

Permanent marker was on my mind aswell, but, it would shine though, the plastic is matte on the card 😕 I want to solutionate this as perfect as possible!

Well there really is one choice and that is to return the one you don't want and get one that matches the other that you keep.
