Hackintosh build with a second wi-fi card?

I have a Maximus IX Code mobo, which has onboard wi-fi and Bluetooth. Everything works fine in Windows 10.

On a separate SSD, I have installed Mac OS High Sierra, which works with a few glitches. My Asus onboard wi-fi, however, is not recognized. Certain Apple features, like FaceTime, iMessage, and Airdrop, will not work without a wi-fi connection. Wi-fi awareness never shows up in the Mac install. Ethernet only.

There are certain 3rd-party wi-fi/Bluetooth cards that are said to work with Hackintosh installs. If I put one of those on my mobo, would it interfere or even work? Or would it be a harmless redundancy?

It should be fine. In the worst case you could disable the device in Windows and your OSX would only see the card anyway.
A bus station is where a bus stops. A train station is where a train stops. On my desk, I have a work station…

Thank you. That's what I'm counting on.

I've ordered the wifi/Bluetooth card that works with Mac OSX, as well as the NZXT USB hub (the Code mobo only has one 2.0 header) and will find out for myself this weekend.

To anyone who has the same question, the second wifi/bluetooth card was fine.

The Hackintosh now has wifi, and there has been no change on the Windows 10 install.

The card I bought was "PC/HACKINTOSH - APPLE BROADCOM BCM94360CD - 802.11 A/B/G/N/AC + BLUETOOTH 4.0" from OSX Wifi. The NZXT USB hub also works as advertised.
