Getting WHEA_UNCONTROLLABLE_ERROR with sli enabled

Hey guys, got a big issue. I have the strix 1080 a8g in sli with the rampage v edition 10 mobo. When sli is enabled, win10 64 crashes with an error saying WHEA_UNCONTROLLABLE_ERROR. I have checked both gpu's and they function just fine on their own. All drivers are updated. Appreciate if anyone could help!

This might sound like a silly question but I have to ask, are both gpu's Strix 1080's ?

It almost sounds like it could be a psu issue too, you could try different pcie cables and pcie ports on the psu.

Both are strix 1080's. I'll change the cables and see what happens!
