Gaming PC build w/ 1k budget(will be upgrading after 2-3 months)

Hello ROG people!, Well this would be my first time building my own gaming pc and my budget for now is 1k. I will just upgrade it after 2-3 months, so basic needs for now, i was planning on using Maximus V Gene or Maximus V Formula (which one is better? and why), and for the graphics...something that will work good on future games. And for CPU, from what i read in this forum i5 3570k is more than enough. So for the kind people out there, pls. help me on this.

*i can probably squeeze it to 1200 budget...as much as possible 1k is the best.
**i have little knowledge in other specs...so explanation is very much welcome.
***usually play MMO, RTS and will be trying FPS games.

It's your call. Compatibility wise I see now problems. As for the CPU cooler, unless you're planning to overclock the processor or you're living in harsh climates, there's no need to invest in an aftermarket one.

I'd suggest staying with an Intel Ivy Bridge chip, like the 3570K, as its a more powerful chip and has heaps of overclocking headroom.
For the PSU, i'd lean to towards something like a 700W semi-modular Corsair unit, as I've never had any issues with their power supplies.
For the Storage, I'd say to start with go for one SSD, for your Windows install, programs and a few games, and then a 1Tb or so dump drive for everything else. You can then add another SSD etc when your funds allow you to.

<-too little space on the SSD to do that, OS it self is like 60gig after instaling updates, add a few programs and you have less space to play around on.

As Mankz said go for 3570k instead of 8350. This is due to AMD loosing to Intel when it comes to performance. For Mobo a MVG would be a better choice with that budget.
