Formula VI not booting at all.

Hey, there.
I´m new to the forums and sadly on my 1st post I will be asking for help.

2 days ago I bought a Formula VI and can´t make it boot at all.

My specs:

700w PSU, atx 2.3, dual rail, etc.
Formula VI
I5 4670K (stock cooler, I´m waiting for a water lock to arrive).
Ripjaws 2x4 @ 2133

The problem, well... I connect everything where it´s supposed to go. 24 pin connector, 8 pin connector (even tried the regular 4 pin at the bottom).
The only thing that happens, is I get the republic of gamers logo blinking. It´s not constant tho, it´s more like.... on for 10 seconds, then a little blink, then perhaps 3 blinks within 5 seconds, etc.
Should that stay always on or is it trying to tell me something?

Just for the records, yes, I do have the rest of the PC, but since I couldn´t make it boot, I removed the video card and all the sata connectors.
Also, I removed the wifi card since I read somewhere on these forums that it could cause some issues.

Right now I have the mobo and the PSU on the table, and it won´t make anything spin.

I tried the CPU and the mem on another mb and it works.

Any ideas at all?

Just adding a little extra something, the PSU is working like a charm on my old system. Tried it again just in case a few minutes ago.

Haswell compatible PSU? Who makes it what model? You sound like you have a power issue. You have the additional 8 pin 12V mobo header plugged into the upper left of the board right? Don't worry about the molex on the bottom, that's for when you have multi-GPU. Put only one stick of RAM in the first DIMM slot.

What's the POST LED say (upper right hand corner of the board), the 8-character display.

The PSU is compatible, the mb requires an ATX 2.0 and this one is 2.3
Vitsuba San S-70: 700w, ATX 2.3, Dual Rail: (http://www.vitsubagroup.com/en/products-page/power-supplies/san-70-s/)

I'm sure it works since I'm using it on the PC I'm posting this from at the moment.

About the Post Led, it's just blank. Never blinking, never trying to either. Nothing.

Looks like a junk PSU. I am not familar with that manufacturer. I am familiar with Super Flower / Delta Electronics / Seasonic / FSP etc as OEM but that one? Never heard of it...

The ATX level on the motherboard has nothing to do with it being Haswell compatible. The Haswell CPU goes to very low power consumption in very low sleep state as well as when starting up and some PSUs cant drop that low and will turn off.

Might be the board but you don't have another PSU or a buddy with a Haswell compatible PSU to check it against?

It's not a high end PSU, but far from junk tho.
And yeah, I will try it in a few hours with another I5 running on a Hero VI. That PC is working fine.

Well, tested the PSU with that Hero and worked fine.
Took the mobo to the reseller and we found some lanes like scratched at the back side of the mobo, right next to the direct key.
So it's down for replacement. Oh, well... bit of waiting now.

Thanks for the replies.

Well. I'm glad it wasn't the PSU!
