First Time PC build! ROG theme...

I just ordered yesterday and hope to have the pics up by Sunday. I call it Project archaic FEVER. I plan on using with my 70 inch vizio tv. Playing an assortment of fps and mmo's. Picture and video editing as well.I want to OC of course need to look more into that before i do though. well anyway here is my parts list please let me know what you think/advice/better parts?.?..

Nice build, I would suggest a higher wattage PSU if you plan to SLI in the foreseeable future.

I will but not in the forseable future. It took me a while to save up for this haha. What would you suggest when the time comes?

HELP!!!!! I soft started off of the box and everything powered up fine. But now that it's all in my case the psu shirts down as soon as i hit the power button. I've unplugged and repllugged. Can some please help me.

You did install the motherboard stand offs if they are not already in place correct?

Yes. All of the standoffs were already in place or atx board.

The rog emblem lights up ads well ads start and reset buttons but nothing happens when i hit start or front power button.

Make sure all your power cables are fully connected, if this doesn't help you could have a short somewhere.

is the motherboard giving you a code?

How do you go about tracking that down? Could it have anything top do with the atx12v i have an 8 pin and a 4 pin. I used the 8 first then i moved it to the 4. Is the only thing different from the soft start.
