From a cost/value/performance point of view have you looked at the 660Ti VGA's should save a bit of money and not make any major difference performance wise.

I would be playing games at 1080p nothing more than that, but if i did get a 30inch monitor would 660ti still be better than 670?

The size of your monitor is irrelevant, the resolution is important. And my friend the 660ti would do the job quite perfectly at 1080p. However if you have set your heart on the 670 then go for it. 🙂
