Good afternoon , I am looking into building a gaming computer in 3 months time , I would appreciate any input on what parts to get with a budget of roughly £2,500(GBP) give or take a few hundred , excluding peripherals. I have been having a search around and I have come up with

Case - Obsidian Series® 900D Super Tower Case
Motherboard - Maximus VII Hero
Cpu - Intel core I7-4790/4790k
Video card - EVGA Gtx 780 Ti
Ram - corsair vengeance 16/32 GB
SSD - Samsung EVO (Thanks Antronman)
HDD - Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200RPM 64MB Cache.(Thanks Antronman)
Power supply - Not decided

All input is welcomed and appreciated , Thank you all in advance.

CPU, go for the K model, its unlocked so you can OC .
non K model is locked so no OC option there.
memory, go for Gskill and ONE kit ONLY!!
PSU, seasonic or corsair, range 850W and upwards, depending on multi GPU option ( expand ). AND 70A on the rail ( this becouse the GPU pulls a good deal of Amps ).
SSD, samsung evo from 256gig and upwards, mabye a 2'nd for games if that is an option.
HDD dont buy green or blue variants , get a normal HDD that you can store files on from 1 - 3 TB ( amount here is up to you )

Nope.

Only trustworthy Corsair PSUs are the AX series.

Everything else is horrible, tons of people have to RMA them, the PSUs are crap.

Superflower or Seasonic made only. Options are EVGA Supernova, NZXT Hale 90 v2, Corsair AX, Seasonic PSUs.

The problem is, OC UK has no EKWB GTX 780Ti Classy blocks.

a GPU whit pre fitted WB cost from 600 quid and up.
so for that setup you need a 480 rad ( if you plan to OC the parts ( this is only CPU and 1 GPU ) )
if you want a good setup pm me and ill make a setup so you can see how it can cost.
and what parts you want to cool.

Add in two more fittings for a video card, around 100GBP for a video card block, and another 240mm radiator per videocard.

Hmm watercooling definitely isn't just filling your cart with stuff...it can and does end in tears. You just have to know yourself well enough. If you are a dab hand with all things DIY and mechanical then no problem...if the last hand-crafted item you made left you with a couple of scars and made grown tradesmen and your family weep when they looked at it then maybe it's not for you. A kit as a start is a good idea.

It does work wonders for getting the best out of multiple GPUs but it is expensive (think divorce bankruptcy and destitution) and warranty voiding but at the same time enormously satisfying...my precious...

Well I have never injured myself while doing any DIY , so I guess that is a good sign 😛 , and i'm only 20 , un-married - and financially stable , so if I ruin my gear , the only problem will be my hurt ego 😛
