Hey Guys,

I am looking for some fans to up the cooling in my system and would like some advice. I am from Australia and the price doesn't matter. My case is an Aerocool X Predator and what I am looking to put in is 6 140mm fans, I am not concerned about how loud or quiet they are I just want good airflow. I am currently looking at the Bitfenix Spectre Pros however they currently don't have any out with Green LEDs which I would like 4 of to go on the clear window on the side of the case. If anyone has any suggestions of other fans to look at by all means post them up and lI'll take a look.

Kind Regards, Silver Wolf

Hi there,

For the fans with Green LEDs, you can consider the NZXT fans, they work pretty well.
Intel Core i7-875K @ 4.5GHz
Maximus III Formula
Corsair H80 CPU Cooler
4 x 2GB Corsair Dominator
ASUS GTX 460 1GB GDDR5
Corsair F60 SSD + 1TB WD Caviar Black
Corsair AX Series 850W
Cooler Master HAF 922

From what I can see the only green fans NZXT sell are 200mm which is too large for what I need as I would rather 4 140mm fans rather than a single 200mm fan. Thanks for your suggestion though I will keep them in mind if I need 200mm fans 🙂

I checked the NZXT website, and they do have green LED fans in 140mm. Here's the link:

I hope this helps. 🙂

Good luck on your search!

I apologise I must be blind lol.

I'll take a look at them 🙂 thanks

Yeap, just be aware that the airflow is not everything... If you want to mount fans in tight places (like the in the front of your case, to blow through the HDD cage), you better choose fans with higher static pressure...

Ok so I'm not exactly sure what I should be looking for with fans so what I'm looking at is adding 4 fans to the side of my case as the window in my case has vents and sockets for fans there. I'm going to replace the one at the back and possibly add one to the bottom so do I need to be concerned about static pressure for those places or what else should I be looking for? Ignoring noise levels as a factor.

If I would be you, I would go with the Aerocools...
