You say your Bios is up-to-date with version 1201 - the latest version is actually 1401 🙂
Please try that version and reply here if you still get the issue 🙂
Here is a link where you can go and download BIOS 1401.

1401 is the latest BIOS which may not have been updated to the website yet.
ASUS are releasing the newest BIOS' for the C6H here and on Overclockers so people can test it ASAP.
A lot of people are saying it's the best BIOS so far for the C6H.
I can assure you I am an ASUS employee, so there is no reason to be skeptical ^^'

well I'm only skeptical because it's not officially up yet and in my country (U.K.) we can void our warranty on products if we damage them via overclocking or messing with bios via unofficial sources. So with all respects until it's in black and white officially I'm going to have to wait.

ok so i took a deep breath and took the risk and updated to 1401 and although working slightly better i still get the error 8 code when i open too many things like world of warcraft, Vuze for my torrents firefox to watch anime when waiting round in wow and google chrome for just general browsing in between watching anime and waiting in wow haha then my comp freezes for about 5 mins before turning off display and displaying error code 8.... i really dont think a (working) 8 core 16 thread processor should have a problem with that sort of multitasking? i hope not it cost me around £500 (rounded off).
