I have 2 Asus motherboards, a Tuf z790 plus wifi and a b760m-a wifi, both of which I am regretting buying, despite hours of searching, driver downloads, instruction videos, bios setting and general F*****g around, I cannot get either of them to show drives in bios. There seems to be no definitive method of how to install drivers or bios on new boards with no operating system installed, loads of " info" online but nothing that appears to work, any help/advice would be appreciated.

Hello LDeee
I'm pretty sure it's normal for your drives not to show in the bios until windows is installed.
It was the same for me with my ROG Strix Z690-F Gaming WiFi.
I have only one drive (Seagate Firecuda 530) installed, it showed up during the windows install where you can delete all partitions.
Install only your boot drive, then try installing windows and see if your drive shows up. If you have any storage drives, install them after installing windows.
Once you have windows installed, then you can install the necessary drivers.
How does this go?

My problem is when I try to install windows from usb to load drivers during windows install, my drive does not show up, i have tried sata drive and nvme in both slots, none of which works, gonna try once more then bin both boards, certainly won't be buying Asus again !
