Difference between Noctua NF-P14s redux vs NF-A14, both 1500 RPM PWM?

I researched this myself but all i found was marketing BS. like the inclusion of extension cables, rubber vibration gaskets, "low noise" cables (aka performance killers) with the newer A14 model. they also said they improved the bearings from SSO to SSO2 on the newer A14 models, by moving the rear magnet 1mm or so closer to the rotor axis for more stability, but I don't buy that. stability has never been an issue on premium fans from any brand.

the specs are almost identical in terms of Static Pressure, Noise, and Airflow. but the A14 model costs $11 more. I need to buy 6 fans so it will cost me $66 extra if i go with the A14 model.

it seems to me that that the only benefits for buying the newer/more expensive will be the inclusion of the accessories that i have no use for and the poop brown + vomit tan color scheme? am i wrong?

get the one that is cheapest.

im running e-loops my self ( non PWM ) and they push a good deal of air even on low rpm.
but then again they cost a bot.

spec sheet on them -> http://www.blacknoise.com/site/en/products/noiseblocker-it-fans/nb-eloop-series/120x120x25mm.php?lan...

just dont have the pull side towards the rad side, it will make contact whit the radiator.

Yes, price difference is usually only a dollar or two. At my local vendors, anyhow.

There are minor technical improvements in the newer Noctua fans. But the Redux line is proven and popular. The biggest difference really appears to be colour, lol, I agree that premium fans (especially from the same manufacturer) are essentially identical in terms of performance and build quality.

you guys are looking at the wrong fans. i wasn't talking about the FLX fans. i was talking about the 1500 RPM PWM fans. i need a little more air pushing.

NF-P14s redux-1500 PWM and NF-A14 1500 PWM

the difference is $11. and yes, the redux fans seem to be universally loved. i ended up getting the redux fans just now. i saw the NF-A14 fans at a local microcenter and hate that coloring. so my decision was based largely on that. and the fact that they have identical specs. newegg.com has a $20 off $50 promo going on right now. i bought four 140mm 3000 RPM industrial fans and four 140mm 1500RPM redux for $124 shipped. 8 fans in total, so about $15 each 🙂 hell of bargain i think.
