DDR4 RGB not working

Hello,

recently i bought the Asus Maximus X Hero and the Corsair Vengeange 32 GB DDR4-3200 Kit ((CMK32GX4M2B3200C16, LPX, XMP).

The computer is running fine, got my cpu 8700k at 5.1 and the memory set at 3200.
But i cant get the RGB of the DDR4 kit working. They dont lit at all.
I have changed the SPD setting to on and have the latest Corsair Link software, but still no go.
In Corsair Link (Version 4.9.5.25) i dont see any option about RGB settings.

I also saw, that in the bios, that DRAM is set at AUTO. (1.504V)
On the specs of the Corsair Vengeange kit, it should have 1.35V for funtioning.

What can i do to get the RGB of the DDR4 kit working?

Hi Pteradon 🙂

If your DRAM voltage really is set at 1.5 then the computer is not running quite fine...

I would clear CMOS and set F5 defaults and then leave the CPU OC until you have your RAM sorted. Maybe check what BIOS you are running and update to latest?

The memory kit number you posted is not RGB or LED
CMK = no lights
CMU = LED
CMR = RGB

@Arne
I have just Cleared Cmos and the Voltage of DRAM was a bit lower > 1,20V
So i have set DRAM voltage to the specs of Corsair > 1,35V
Thanks.

@Menthol
You have cleared the fog of the RGB 😮
I was thinking about buying the DDR4 with RGB,
but i came home with the normal DDR4 :rolleyes:
That explains a lot.
Thanks.
