Hi all,
So built this PC back in Jan 2017, left it running the other day, came back after a few hours and it was shutdown. Assumed Win10 standby mode. Since then cannot get the thing to POST. Have now stripped it back to just CPU, Heatsink, 1 DIMM and PSU. It actually POSTed and showed Q code 36 once, but that is not repeatable. Start and Reset buttons are lit so board is powered. CPU and board power connectors are only PSU cables connected.
I've even tried to USB flash the BIOS in case that was corrupted but even that fails (red BIOS light stops flashing and stays lit which I understand indicates failure?).
I've even bought a replacement board but the exact same situation occurs, so I'm now left wondering if the CPU is dodgy, but it's only a couple of months old and I've not even overclocked anything!!
Any ideas would be much appreciated!
Cheers.
