Computer sounds like a vacuum cleaner and is hitting 70 degrees, these fans any good?

Hi,

So I've got a Bitfenix Collosus case running an AMD FX8350 Eight Core 4.0ghz black edition (not overclocked) and at the moment is sounds horrendously loud and the AMD program is warning me its running at 65/70 degrees which I am guessing is bad.

On the CPU I'm running the stock fan, and in the case I have added 1 120mm Bitfenix fan and a 140mm Aeroshark fan, and for as long as I can remember it sounds horrendous (luckily I use headphones) and loud.

The GPU is a Lightning 780 and this isn't the problem, the three fans on this are basically silent, as are the two big case fans. So I was intending on replacing the 120mm and the 140mm and the stock heatsink, and was wondering if anybody had any opinions on these?

I never see 65/70 C but now i use Cooler Master SEIDON 240M i advice water cooler silent and fast cooling

If you don't want to use an AIO liquid system, the Noctua NH-U12S has great performance and a low noise level.

If those are your temps at idle,I would question your thermal conductivity between CPU and the Fan, What compound did you use and how did you apply it. Even a stock air cooler should keep the temps below 30c. As Chino says if you don't want to liquid cool then I would recommend Noctua as well. I have one of my systems using the Noctua NH-U12P x2 in a Push Pull configuration.

Really if you want to overclock your system, that case has plenty of room to mount a closed loop liquid system like the Corsair H105. Not difficult to fit, Probably cheaper than 2x Noctua but a darn site more efficient. I have a FX-9590 CPU and my temps at idle are around 20c.
Your TDP draw is around 140 for the FX-8350 and the FX-9590 is 220 TDP. Both beasts require decent thermal overheat protection if you want a stable system.

I got a Corsair RM 750 Gold power supply that doesn't even spin up the fan until at least at 40% of power usage. Most of your noise is probably from the CPU and accy fans, but I have a i7 and even when gaming almost noiseless because it's not pulling enough power to hit the spin up threshold.

You might want to re-apply a good thermal paste, sometimes that is a point of CPU overheating.
