personaly i dont see the need for a 760 since its based on old arcitecture,
its like buying a 690 if you ask me.
the 780 up is made from new keplar and the 770 down is he old keplar GPU CPU.
i did go from 2 560TI's to 2x 780's and dont regret it.
personaly i say drop the raidr and go whit the ssd's.
2 ssd's in raid 0 will outperform the raidr enny day.

will the phoebus disable the sli like the raidr ?

thanks guys... I'll wait and see what the Poseidon costs and go from there.. so two 780's and a Phoebus would be the way to go ..?

I forgot to add that my monitor is a 39" UDHD LED 4K TV (HDMI) and a second 23" Acer standard monitor for monitoring Ventrilo and server admin with a 5.1 Logitech surround sound (for now) ... from all the reviews that I can find, this should work fine.. ????

the phoebus is a 1x or 4x slot card ( small black slot ) so it will not take up a red pcie slot so you will have 8x on the cards in SLI.
but IF your going to have the phoebus in top black slot you have to take off the armour to fit it.

ok next question ... MEMORY .. during my research I read that for a gaming rig you dont necessarily NEED a faster memory speed. the memory that I picked out does not appear on the QVL for the M6F. so here's my question.. would it be better (fast but stable) to go with 32gb of slower ram (1066 or so) or 16 gb of 2400 or bigger.. will the M6F recognize the full amount installed... I'll be running windows 7 ultimate..
