Compatible mobo 4x8GB RAM at 4000MHz

APZX2J
Level 7
• Mobo - Asus Strix X570-F
• CPU - AMD Ryzen 9 5900x
• GPU - Asus TUF Radeon 6800XT
• RAM - Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO 4x8GB 4000MHz C19 (CMW32GX4M2K4000C19)
• CPU Cooler - Corsair H115i Elite Capellix
• Fans - 5x Corsair QL140 + 3x QL120
• Case - Corsair 680x

Originally had 2x8GB RAM modules running stable at 4000MHz with 2000 FCLK. Added 2 extra modules and unfortunately could only manage 3600MHz with 1800MHz FCLK. Anything above 3800MHz isnt stable and setting FCLK above 1800MHz prevents the system from posting and requires a CMOS jump.

Do Asus have any mobos which can run these modules at full speed? Looking at the ASUS ROG Crosshair series they seem to handle 4x8GB at 4000MHz but my RAM isnt specifically listed, only Corsairs CMK32GX4M4K4000C19(Ver4.31). Happy for the mobo to have or not have on board WIFI, currently using the ASUS PCE-AX3000 but its within the Amazon return period. Unfortunately my mobo and RAM were purchased from ebuyer and their return policy isnt great, ideal situation I can just sell and purchase a new mobo rather than both the mobo and RAM. Thanks!

Hello,

1) To run 4 DIMMs above 1800 FCLK requires a fairly good IMC.

2) Mixing memory kits hinders the chances of hitting these speeds even further, as memory kits are binned in the density they are sold in.

3) For best chance of hitting 4K 1:1 at a higher memory density, purchase a 2 DIMM kit with the memory density you require. E.g. 16x2GB.
