Can i use my 4Gb RAM from a GL552VW to upgrade a X555LD from my girlfriend?

I'm upgrading my GL552VW with 8Gb (4+4) RAM to 32, and i wished to know if i can use one of the RAM sticks on my girldfriend X555LD available slot to double her RAM, as 4Gb in her laptop are soldered...
