Best projector for PC gaming needs?

I am really happy with my PC build, and for screen I currently use the ROG SWIFT PG278Q. But I think it would be really cool to do some gaming on a projector screen too. I have a large basement where it would be dark enough even in daytime. Two good options that I have found are BenQ HT4050 (http://www.techradar.com/reviews/audio-visual/projectors/benq-ht4050-projector-1308146/review) and Optoma GT1080 (http://www.consumertop.com/best-projector-for-gaming).They have 2000 and 2800 lumens, is that enough do you think? How important is lumens? Other than normal things like resolution, image quality etc, is there anything specific I should look for?

What do you think of these two for gaming? Do you have any other suggestions?

lumen is light, and when it comes to light in the room and how dark it have to be before you get a good picture on the screen.
the more lumen a projector have the brighter the picture will be on the screen ( witch will give poor black on black )
you are locked to 50/60 HZ/FPS and a higher latency compare to the monitor.
and by gaming they aim at console players.

as a pc games you have to look at lag from PC -> to the picture is shown on the equipment you want to use.
the higher HZ the bether it is and less screen tear you get.
resolution and picture quality.
the majority of TV's for example, are "listed" whit "400+HZ" witch is just bull, it take that frame and post it several times until next frame comes, this just to smooth it out.
the reality is that when you connect a PC for example to a TV ( whit what ever connection type ) it will stay at 60HZ no matter what.
there is TV's that is coming out whit 120HZ in but they are HDMI 2.0 and top of the like, aka expensive.

I have a yamaha dpx530 for gaming only as it is not a 1080p projector as i run it at 1080i which gives me almost no lag at all. Sadly yamaha stopped making projectors some years back.I can still buy the lamps though. This projector although i use it in my theater room for gaming also makes a good home theater projector. If you could get your hands on one of these that has been looked after you will have done well. As far as those projectors go a first hand demo would be an ideal next step.

I recently just made the switch from a Samsung 50" 1080p to a projector setup for both my xbox one and just recently the pc. Like the others have already explained, the lumens is the brightness rating and while it is important it isn't the end-all be-all, especially with hd projectors for indoor use. My setup consists of the Optoma GT1080 (http://www.pricenfees.com/best-projector-for-gaming.html) and has 2800 lumens I believe - It was between that and the Optoma HD141X (http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,2817,2471858,00.asp) which is also HD but has 3000 lumens. Overall i'm happy with my choice - my buddy has the 141X and I personally feel my setup looks better, even with the smaller lumens rating.

Out of competition is projector Optoma GT1080). At first, it has 2 HDMI inputs with support for MHL and the built-in speaker,
secondly, it is simple and easy to install and use.

It seems it also provides the opportunity to connect directly to the phone.

Not without reason it is on the list of the best projectors. http://cloodjo.com/best-projectors-gaming-top-10-reviews Btw, it gives a high brightness of up to 2800 lumens:rolleyes:
