I have built a system with a 14900KF and an asus z790-F board. If the system boots "cold", it runs about 2 minutes than freezes. After a second boot, the system runs stable. This is annoing, because the is a desktop machine not a server. Especally over night when the computer is down, a cold boot in the morning fails. Please help. If this issue is not fixed by assus, i never will buy a assus pruduct again.

Is it overclocked or on stock? is orange led light up when it fail to boot? might be ram training related or defected stick. Can try with single stick and reset bios defaults...

Hey,
I was thinking the same thing about the overclock. Try clearing the CMOS to see if the PC's properly boot's and loads into the operating system.

As above, ensure XMP is disabled and retest to see if the behaviour is replicable.

thank you for your advice. what i figured out is, that if i do not shoot down the computer (putting only in power saving mode) and wake it up, than the computer works fine and never crashes.
