ASUS Z590 Maximus XIII Hero

I have an AMD Radeon RX 6900 XT installed into PCIe x 16 (1st slot) I am unable to remove the graphic card. The locking tap on the slot appers to be open, the front of the card comes up but the rear will not release and I do not wish to force the removal. What are my options to remove the GPU? Is there a specific method to remove the card?

Finally got it out by dismantling installations to reach the locking tab. No easy way.*

Try holding the tab down while you lift up on the GPU. If that doesn't work, try holding the tab down while jiggling it a bit while you lift up the GPU.
