ASUS x870e Crosshair Hero (9950x3d) Error Code 40s-50s

Hi there - I'm hoping I can receive some kind of feedback or support regarding my issue. I have ran my memory on the x870e crosshair hero motherboard on EXPO1 and EXPO2 profile but I continue to get error codes in the 40 and 50s, mainly 40s and it's usually between 45-46.

Please note that the computer boots up fine, operates well, but sometimes about 1-2 times a day the computer can freeze and becomes "stuck." No inputs can be made and I have to manually turn off the computer from the case power button. When I look up the code (usually in the 40s) I see nothing but memory issue/memory instability.

My kit is a DDR5-6000.. not overclocked it's just running on EXPO1 profile. Is this normal? Should I not worry? It boots, it works.. I'm just trying to see if there's an underlying issue and if the boot code on the mobo shouldn't be in the 40s or 50s?

Hello tyvanmoppes

The Q-Code is most likely showing your cpu temperature.

with the Q-Code set to Auto, it will show your cpu temperature. With the Q-Code set to Post Code Only, it will show normal codes.

With the Q-Code set to Post Code Only, it should show code AA once booted into windows.

You can set this in the bios on the Advanced tab, Onboard Devices Configuration.

EXPO 1 is an overclock, try resetting the bios to defaults and see if the freezing disappears.
