ASUS ROG Liquid Cooler with ASUS Z690 MOBO

I was wondering if anyone is using both an ASUS ROG Ryujin II or the original Ryujin cooler on an ASUS Z690 motherboard?
I have ROG Strix Z690 A on the way and was wanting to pair it with a Ryujin II 360 cooler, but they've been hard to find and I'm thinking about just getting the original Ryujin 360 instead. Does anyone know if there's compatibility issues? Will I need an LGA 1200 to 1700 adapter bracket? Fyi I live in Canada.
