asus rog crosshair x670e extreme - AE9 Soundcard

Hi All,

Just getting around to update my Rampage V 2011 motherboard, and moving over to 

asus rog crosshair x670e extreme, noticed a lot has changed over the years. less Sata, less PCIE

however more M.2s 

Question : does the x4 slot on the mobo support soundcards? Have a ae9 soundblaster I plan on using.
