ASUS motherboards without the ROG EXT header for cabling to the OC Panel?

I just got Asus Maximus z690 hero, but for my surprisse my OS panel doesnt work with it.

No rog_Ext port nor NODE_IN.

Doesnt work either.

Will this cable work if i get it ?

Yes the USB 2.0 header with an extension like the one that you've posted should work. The first on you got likely didn't work because it didn't supply enough power to the OC panel after splitting it 4 ways.
