Asus Maximus VIII Extreme problems with strix 1080 ti

Hi,

i tried to install my new Asus 1080 ti strix on my system with motherboard Asus Maximus VIII - bios version 3504, but bios can't show the GPU.

I tried with another PC with Asus 270E and the graphic card work well.

Need help. Is not compatible Maximus Extreme VIII ? I can't believe it!

it is compatible.
did you plug all cables ( pci-e ) in to the GPU?
and pluged the GPU in 1'st pcie slot where it should be placed? ( read manual )

Of course. The GPU isn't recognize by Bios. Tried also with other GPU on Mb as ASUS 1060 *and this one work properly.

As some bios versione at all.*It's the same. No found the strix 1080ti asus
