Asus Crosshair Hero VIII 3900x RAM issue

Hello 🙂

I have a Hero VIII and 3900x.. But I can't for the life of me get my ram to boot over 3000mhz, xmp og auto settings.. with the 0803 bios..or whatver is the latest of this post. I have trident z 16 GB kit 3600 C16, approved by Asus on their vendor list.

Does anyone have a fix for this? With the shipping bios I was able to run 3200mhz, with tighter timings, but not 3600,.. xmp or auto..

I have tried upping the voltage.. looking online etc.. Soc voltage, ram voltage etc..

I have read that ASUS currently have a bug in the bios setting ram boot voltage too low.. but I can't confirm this..

I doubt that there is any bug or issue, I can run DOCP 4133 and doubt my ram is even on the vendor list.
Currently running my ram @3600 14-15-14-28 CR1 Reading around 55945 MB/s

Anyway to the point, the most likely cause for your issue is:-
Make sure you have put the memory in slots A2 and B2 (2 & 4) not 1&3
