Asus A8G temperature high 83C at 2 sessions fifa 15

My Asus A8G 1080 I think is quite hot to play 83 degrees after 2 session's FIFA 15.

Is this quite normal?

My other specs are
Asus ROG Formula IX
Asus ROG GTX 1080 A8G
Intel core 7600K
Housing is the Lian Li PC-O8

Motherboard and processor are cooled at the EKWB Extreme set

3 fans as an intake for me radiator in the front

2 fans as intake on top

1 Fan as outake rear case

The radiator intake fans should be located inside the MB chamber, not the PSU chamber. Typically you want front to rear airflow, particularly when you have a video card that dumps heat into the case. This case is probably meant for a waterblocked VGA or maybe even full custom water loop. This seems like a poor design for air cooling.

Is 85 degrees to worry about or is it still acceptable?

I better sell this housing than I think. I'm not going to get me a video card for water-cooled (I do not want to lose my warranty.

As I said, it's no better to turn the fans around? So the heat can get out and 1 fan blows the cold air from behind?

That temperature is pretty warm. Not sure what critical temps are for the 1080 Strix but I wouldn't want mine running at that temperature for a long time.

Lets not be hasty. Looks like an expensive case. First lets try something simpler. Try changing your top fans to exhaust to change the air flow and see if that allows the warm air from the VGA to rise and become exhausted by rear and top fans. If this does not help much, or at all, I would consider mounting two intake fans inside the MB chamber that blow air over the card and toward the rear exhaust fan. I know the case may not have been designed for that but a little ingenuity should allow you to do this at a reasonable cost.

You don't want the rear fan intake as it is directly over the video card. You can try it but I don't think it will do much as it simply pushes warm air back into the case. Mind you, if you'd like it doesn't hurt to try. In case of poor results you can simply switch it back.

He has to keep it for 3 months. I have been able to get my girlfriend over 3 months to buy the Asus Poseidon GTX 1080 TI. Think this is the very best solution. In my case and for the case: P

If you want to test if heat is being trapped in the case just take off the side panel. If temperatures drop you'll have your answer. Easiest way to be sure.
