Advise for VGA and cooling in new rig /4770k/M6F/GSkill2400

HI All

I jus recieved parts for my rigs and i had assambled it, but i need some advise with finel parts.

At this moment i have:
Case: NZXT 820 Black
Mobo: Maximus VI Formula
Procc: 4770k
RAM: GSkill 2400 2x8Gb (Single side module)
HDD: OCZ Vector 128Gb+ 2x2Tb WD green
PSU: Tacens Radix III 1000W
VGA: Radeon HD4890 (looking for advise!)
Cooling: Stock 775 cooler (looking for advise)
Screen: Samsung PX2270 (1920x1080)

To help my adviser friends 😮 Im planig on stethic level, to apply some kind of black and whyte paint vynil with carbon fiber effect, but this is thelast thing to think about...

The main thing that i need now is the VGA, lloking as good hig end Graphics (playing on 1920x1080 Ultra setting sin latest games and next gen games). I had a ook at GTX770 and R9 290, butim not decided, also the new api and the arrival of next gen gtx makes me doubt more. Wait for GTX 800 and the go for a GTX 780?

Im not sure about start whatercooling, its promising and so cool but really xpensive for me, so if go for that should be slowly.
In that point i had in mind to go for some 240 kit to place in the rear place outside the case, choosing a kit with quality pump (Laing D5 or equivalent) and Good waterblock (Phobya ST2, EK supremacy, XSPC Raystorm, Ibercool ICE MT...) so later i cand xpand just adding radiators. Also if im in the good way i think that tube reservoirs are better looking that they are cheaper and can chage the waterpump type just switching the base or also being standlaone with separated pump.
Al i would like to xpand mdding the case to make fit Phobya xtreme 400 and Xtreme 200 as top and bottom radiators with Bitfenix 230 fans as ideal setup for CPU, VGA and MOBO.
Nexxos alphacool 240 kit is my first choice now do you suggest anithing better? (i live in UE, so cant buy at tigerdirect, ncix, pcperformance, frozencpu or newegg... 😞 )

Thanks in advance!

Check your cart. That res is just the res. You need to add a pump at checkout with FrozenCPU. Also use the code "OCN" for 5.1 discount. I'm a heavy poster of Overclock.net Forums. 😛 You may want to buy the AX360 kit which I think is cheaper than buying your XSPC Res + Raystorm + Comp Fittings. It comes with 6 fittings and you need 4 more...

I paid 259ish for my AX360 + Raystorm + Dual Bay + Laing D5... threw the tube out immediately and used the XSPC Xinrulian Fans as they aren't that bad. 😄

Don't forget you need Rad fans. Also Rad fans != case fans. You want fans with high static pressure.

HI!
Thanks everybody, y belive that finally i decided to go with this, maybe is not most affordable but will be the better.
XSPC raystorm
EK XT240 rad (a bit better than the XSPC one and improved performance for low rpm fans
A tube reservoir, with or without top for D5
D5 pump, standalone or for reservoir top
Primochill LRT tubing 😉
Distilled water with silver killcoil
ARtic mx-4 IHS-Cooler tim and coolaboratory for DIE-IHS

What are the best compressiong fittings at a reasonble price? (bitspower are the coolest but they are to much xpensive)

Im missing something?

Heh. You put a 😄 next to the Primochill. The only reason I always knock on other tubing so much is because the crap in kits is 99.99% junk and I can't always recommend Tygon because Mayhem's coolants dont like Tygon. Advanced LRT is so good as it's so flexible and also won't give you plasticizer problems...

I don't like Bitspower Fittings because they are too expensive. There's a serious price hike likely in what it takes to make those and what they actually sell them for. I like the Monsoon Compression Fittings. If you are buying from FrozenCPU they will sell you 6 for $36 kits of them.

Rad, switch to Alphacool Nexxos UT45x240mm. They are around same price. Much better RAD.

Just go Phobya HEGrease or Gelid GC-Extreme for everything. (They are the same EXACT thing)

EK, Swiftech, Alphacool are making some nice fittings too... same quality ike Bitspower, but half the price...

Stick with the Primochill tubing, Advanced LRT... Tygons will decelerate even with pure distilled water... - and their wall is very prone to ruptures (don't ask how do I know)

Just be very careful with the liquid metal type TIMs between the DIE/IHS... as you would think from their name, they're very conductive and near the DIE you have some things you do not want to short... Gelid Xtreme would be enough there too...

I agree bitspower fittings are really nice built very well but pricey..

Hi! Thanks all for the advise!

I will buy most Watercooling parts at http://www.aquatuning.com and coolmod.com

So im restricted to what i can fond there.

For the VGA and other parts i can buy where i found the best preices.

PS: at this moment my 4770 is delided with Artic cooling mx4 tim.
Asi i found in Overclock.net forums coolaboratory is the best perfoming TIM

Yes, perhaps it is the best - what I was trying to say is that it's also one of the unsafest ones...

aquatuning does not sell EKWB product's enny more.
so for EK you have to go for other "stores".

Indigo Extreme is the best.
