32-bit Sound Card

Hi all, just signed up. You can tell by the title that I was wondering if Asus will be producing a 32-bit sound card like Creative did with their AE-5? I am really upset at Creative as I bought the AE-5 and returned it, because no matter how I installed it, it would not work with Windows 7 at all. My sound card now is a Sound Blaster Z this will be my last one as I'm done and fed up with creative and their horrible driver support. I really want to switch and go with Asus as I read and saw video reviews of their awesome sound cards. The one I was looking at was ASUS Sound Card Essence STX II but that card is still very expensive, over $200 at the moment. If in the future they will make a 32-bit sound card I would love to buy one.

Whats the rest of your sound components?

Just using a set of Logitech Z625 and when I want to use earbuds I have Bose SoundSport in-ear headphones. Just looking upgrade to something better. Hopefully ASUS will come out with something like the Sound Blasterx AE-5. If so I will most likely upgrade.

If you are an audiophile no soundcard will suffice.*
Don’t know what your budget is but what works for me is I scrapped the soundcard plan and disabled everything onboard except the Realtek devise. I use the optical toslink out to a DAC then out of the DAC to powered monitors and a powered sub. The DAC also has a built in headphone amp. Audioengine makes a decent DAC the won’t completely run you in the poorhouse. *

Sorry for the late reply.. Holidays 😄 I know what you mean. I'm not really that much of an audiophile, more of a hard core gamer but, I like to have good sound with my speakers and head phones. I'm not looking for a DAC really, I'm going to do the usual wait and see if ASUS does make a new 32 bit sound card to compete with Creative.
