XG Mobile USB ports not working after resume from standby

Hello

I have the Rog Ally for a few month without problems. It is really great. I recently aquired a XG Mobile 3070. The setup was easy and the XG is working good. I use the XG with an external monitor and use the builtin XG USB ports for a wired USB gamepad controller and external SSD.

The only issue I found is that when I put the Ally in standby and resume the XG USB ports are no longer powered. The gamepad / SSD no longer works (power LED is off) and the connection to the monitor is working but audio is no longer routed to the monitor. Instead the Ally speaker are the only audio out that is available.

The XG is never disconnected. I use it as a desktop replacement at the moment. It is running standard Windows 11, the one that comes with the device.

The only solution I found is to complety power off the Ally and so the XG. The boot up sequence is not that long but sometimes it is easier to go to standby and not close all programs.

Is this a known issue or is this a XG user error? Anybody had the same problems with a XG?

I had also a Corsair Headset USB dongle connected. I removed all USB devices one by one to see if it made a difference. Since I removed the Corsair dongle, it seem to work. So it looks like some strange sort of user and tech error. I have to to test it a few days.

Thanks for the replay. It is working really good now for two days. No problems. The XG is doing very good and ther performance is top.

I just connect the dongle before using the headset and disconnect immediately after use. In the long term I am going to opt for Bluetooth headset.
