Greetings,
Let me just say this..... my experience with the XG Mobile has been very very very bad...
Right now, the latest issue is: I keep on getting asked to install firmware and it never works. Says the card is not detected. I've used this device for over a year and YES, it has been VERY rough. This latest issue is something new, preventing me from using the device or it even being detected on the device manager.
I have don't soft reset of my ROG Ally, HARD reset, Reverted back to 7 different bios, tried using and adrenaline, myasus, windows and armoury crate updates in all different orders...
My dog ally works fine with the IGPU...... The xg mobile just won't update the firmware now. The power, usb hub and all I/O work on it. It detects the switch and turns red.. I then am told I need to install the firmware for xg mobile, it starts to install and then hits me with the cancel/cannot update firmware. Please try again...
I've tried DDU uninstaller, Windows reinstall...EVERYTHING. This has been a nightmare and waste of money, THUS FAR.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
