Xbox ROG Ally X Stuck on windows update "You're 100% there. Please keep your computer on"

I've booted it up this morning and after proper shutdown yesterday. I was not plugged in when powering up.  It's stuck like this for an hour and a half. Screen turns off after some time and only turns back after I tap on power button. I own it for 3 days and already got initial updates applied - so I guess its the new one (from yesterday?).  What to do? Should I cycle power or wait?

2 h later. It's finished and Restarted. No input from me, except occasional screen wakes.

Huh, scary - this is my comeback to windows gaming and I don't know how these things operate anymore - but here we go!

Can this update thing be avoided? what if I was on a proper trip or something and had to use it?

if anyone gets this today - please wait.

I have since Friday but only applied updates today too and the same thing happened to me.

I think it was a bug and after an hour i force restart without charger and now its like that again.

Very strange if it goes for 2 hours in 100% i regret doing this update and hope it finish because i dont know how to enter in safe mode to cancel update in cmdimage.jpg

After waiting 2 hours mine is running ok! Hahahaa

This is a normal situation. If Windows Update is running in the background, the completion time will depend on your network conditions.
