Serial number already registered

I recently bought a rog ally z1 extreme at best buy online that was an open box in excellent condition.  Then I tried to register my product and it doesn't allow me too because its already registered.  How do I register it cause I have the product

I have the same exact problem.  When I tried to contact ASUS Support, they said they would only give me a courtesy 90 day warranty! That's completely disgusting because it would bring the warranty down from its original date.  I'm trying to get my promised 1 year warranty as it says on the best buy open box page.

Has anyone been able to get their warranty setup properly? Especially given that our SD cards will fail (mine already did and I'll need an RMA).
