Rog Xbox Ally x Duplicate Screen Problem after armory crate update

Whenever I go into duplicate mode, it forces it into expand mode and back into duplicate mode and then back into expand mode. And it goes on a loop doing that forever until I select it into expand or second screen mode only. It was working before all the updates

We have already confirmed the issue and an update for optimization is expected next week.
As a short-term solution, we suggest setting the projection mode to "PC screen only," "Extend," or "Second screen only" for use. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

Same here, I have the exact same issue. Initially thought it was hardware issue but seems like it is a driver issue. Keen to get this sorted asap.

Anyone know where can we escalate this issue ?

May I ask what are the current BIOS version, system version, Armoury Crate version, and graphics driver version of your ALLY device?
Could you also provide a video of the issue for our verification?

For me:

System Model: ROG Ally X RC72LA_RC72LA

BIOS Version/Date: American Megatrends International, LLC. RC72LA.312, 5/15/2025

SMBIOS Version: 3.5

OS Version: Windows 11 Home, 10.0.26200 Build 26200

Armory Crate verison: 2.1.15.0

Graphics driver version: 32.0.22029.1019 (did attempt to update after issue started but made no difference).

Is there an update on what day this week the update should roll out? I’ve seen multiple Reddit posts with others having this issue. I have seen like 2 comments saying they got an update and its working fine again. I checked yesterday and today, and mine doesn't have any new updates still. I truly miss docking my ROG Ally to my TV to play while I’m in my flare ups. Had to go back to my steam deck till this problem gets fixed. I miss the smoothness, versatility, and performance of my Ally.

I am still having this issue. I just installed every update available in armoury and in windows, but still having the issue. What is going on?

Confirmed that I have version 2.1.16.1 installed for AC_FDS, Game library, and Game visual. Yet the issue persists.
