ROG Ally Z1- slow internet connection

Phreakyness
Level 7

I've tried it all. I've got it locked to 5g instead of 2.4, I've updated every driver and other update. I've been fiddling with every solution over been able to think of and it has stayed at a steady 2.8-3.2Mbps despite being on the same WiFi all my other devices use but get 300Mbps+... Was this a giant waste of money or do they really expect me to wait 5 days for my game to download?

i am downloading to the SSD, i don't even have an SD in. I enjoy my Zephyrus so i figured I'd try to have some brand loyalty but im getting slightly agitated.

Hi @Phreakyness ,

I would like to confirm whether your BIOS (331) and WIFI driver (V3.3.2.852) have been updated to the latest versions.
Could you please let me know if you have any Bluetooth devices connected at the same time?
Additionally, I'd like to verify if you downloaded the games through Steam. Could you kindly provide the following information via private message and include a screenshot of your speedtest? This will help us further investigate:

Serial Number (SN):
BIOS Version:
MediaTek Wireless Network Driver Version:
Router Brand and Network Bandwidth:

Thank you for your cooperation.

Due to the ongoing regional holidays, my responses may be slightly delayed.
Thank you in advance for your patience.‌‌‌‌
