Rog Ally Z1 crashing when psu is plugged in

Hi , i have a Rog Ally Z1 extreme and have recently upgraded the SSD to a WD Black 2tb , 

When playing games with my psu plugged in, it resets itself after a few minutes of gameplay, however when i put it into performance mode and remove the psu, it works fine. 

 

Would appreciate any suggestions

Did the issue occur after upgrading the SSD? Have you tested the device with the original SSD to see if the problem still exists?
