ROG Ally X - Gamepad mode keeps displaying

Hello 

  For the past week, on the ROG ally X, while playing a game in gamepad mode, I keep getting a display on the screen that says Gamepad mode as if I switched to a new mode.  This always causes a slight delay in my inputs.  This occurs nearly every 30 secs during game play.

BTW, I have removed and reinstall the control interface and armoury crate and it is still occuring.  Is this a known Armoury crate bug?  If so, is there a hotfix available now, or can we revert back to a prior verson?

same here. only just started happening. i think its probably a dodgy armory crate update or something. same issue and freezes up the game whenever it happens, like an application has opened in the background (not saying thats whats happening but thats what i thought originally).

I think this latest armory crate update is unstable please reinstall it. Wait for the links admin provide here, the armory crate SE on the official website doesnt work at all. Tried to restore system after uninstalling it now it gives AacLighting.exe issues that gives unlimited pop up at the windows page making it unusable

I’ve done the reinstall.  What I have noticed is that a game seems to work fine after reinstall unless I bring up command center while in game.  Then it all goes to hell and stays that way no matter what. 

Try setting the profile to auto instead of gamepad mode. I didnt have to switch manually, just set to auto it will change controls accordingly.

There is no way to switch, the previous armory crate update is super stable now even my emulators are giving me the black screen treatment

Please tried removing ASUS System Control Interface v3, uninstalling Armoury Crate SE using the uninstall tool, and then reinstalling ASUS System Control Interface v3 version V3.1.34 and Armoury Crate SE to see if there is any improvement?
