ROG Ally X - bluetooth performance (lag) when machine is docked to power supply

I noticed that when the ROG Ally X is plugged in into power (100w charger) or a thunderbolt dock (adt-ut3g) I found that bluetooth becomes very laggy with a bluetooth mouse, or a Xbox Series game controller.

Do you have any solutions to this?

Hi @Abziaf ,

I would like to confirm whether you have updated the BIOS to the latest version 305? Have you tested using the original charger to see if the same issue occurs? Additionally, when the Bluetooth performance lag occurs, are both the 100W charger and the Thunderbolt dock connected to the Thunderbolt 4-supported Type-C port? Could you please provide a video showing the mouse or controller lag and include the following information so we can further investigate the issue? Thank you.

  • Windows Build Version: (Settings - System - About)
  • MediaTek Wireless Driver Version:
  • MediaTek Bluetooth Driver Version:
  • Have you added or replaced any SSD/RAM:
  • Armoury Crate SE > Settings > General > About > Service Version > Check Button (Copy all content):
