I've had my Ally (2023) for about 2 weeks. The SD Card reader has gone belly up and I am within the return window with BestBuy. However, it seems likely that if I return it to BestBuy and swap for a new one it will likely develop the same problem. If I RMA the Ally through ASUS will it be repaired with a redesigned Motherboard that will likely avoid the card overheat issue? If I return for a refund and upgrade to the Ally X has the SD Card reader overheat issue been resolved?

I'm sorry to hear about your experience. Regarding the SD card issue, we recommend sending your Ally to a local service center for RMA.
