Can I register it under my name

I have the same issue and I can’t contact the guy anymore to get an invoice, I’m just trying to register it under my name as my Ally is legally mine and I paid for it. I never received the free year of GlideX, nor my three months of Gamepass ultimate

Nope, not unless you can get an invoice/reciept from the previous owner, I spent $700 on this just to not be able to register it in my name, even though I legally own it due to him not returning my text and being able to get a receipt or anything…. SMH

I've recently bought a used one, I do have a copy of the purchase invoice.

Also the previous owner has contacted Asus and asked them to de-register him from the device. Asus said they would and it could take 24 hours..  it's been 5 days now.

 

Is there anything I can do to speed up the process? Just worried as I opened up a RMA for the broken SD card reader, and they are picking it up from my address on Monday (in the UK)

but I'm worried about any extra charges due to it coming from my address etc?

Previous owner purchased it from Asus in June and it's still under warranty until next May.
