I have the same story with Ally and XG Mobile 6850M XT.
The update center in Armory Crate keeps telling me that I need to update the firmware:
ROG XG Mobile Device Firmware VER 91008.001.303 Date 2022/06/21
When I click on install, it downloads and after 1 second of installing, it updates again after another 1 second.
And what makes it worse is I will uninstall armory crate like everyone says and then reinstall it, when I do that. the update goes away for x amount of time or when a game it doesnt like is being played and then it magically pops back up. It was gone this last time for almost a month and I just installed a new game and its back!!! Im tired of this! No offence but I think armory create and the rog ally are trash. Its constant issues.
